Artist's Comments
I began with a pencil sketch on a A4 sheet of paper (click here), I was kinder making it up as I was going along. When I finished the sketch, and scanned it, then took some photo's for textures (road, sky, fences), then messed around in Photoshop for ages getting them all right. It's nothing much, but I think it's pretty good as it's the first time i've tried to do something like this. The texture of the road was a combination of pencil shading, and the road texture from a photo, I think it turned out pretty good.
Some of the textures don't fit to right, and the building looks a bit too cartoony. I'm quite new at this so any tips would be cool. |
