My main interest is game programming (and programming in general), however I do a bit of 3d modelling. Got quite a few photos on my hard drive which Ill have to go through and pick a few to upload.
I'm not really interested in terragen anymore (it does prove useful for generating backgrounds and terrain for my game projects though).

My name is Slade Villena, and I am the lead programmer for the PS3 dev-lab here at University of California, Santa Cruz. I was browsing, and was quite impressed.
Our School of Engineering recently acquired developer kits for the PS3, and our group is currently experimenting on prototype engines and
architecture. Our school has a senior track for Game Design, where students produce full games, with a 3 quarter cycle.
My intention is to submit a game ,breaking into the finals of the various games festivals (IGF, PAX10 and the like) I am currently working on the PS3, so I can deliver a prototype engine by the end of summer.
Unfortunately, we don't have a technical artist community here at UCSC, so we don't have anyone to recruit locally.
After browsing through your work, I was wondering if you would be interested in producing art assets? (some positions have reader/tutor stipends for participating artists) I noticed the level of detail in
your art, as well as the details in the machines.
Of course, I would like to hear from you first. What kind of art do you focus on? Do you have any game design ideals that you want to publish?
Do you want an avenue to the games festivals?
I'm hoping this doesn't sound too contentious. I'm a fairly ambitious programmer. My main focus is on AI and game engines. But my art SUCKS.
(Well, except for procedurally generated stuff.)
Anyway, would love to hear more about you.
Cheers. If you would like to contact me via IM : solidslade@yahoo.com
